‘Reading Explorer Theme-based Anthology (3rd Edition) November Webinar’ was successfully held on 27 November 2020. In the 1st session of the webinar, Ms Kitty Zhang, Academic Marketing Manager of Greater China, National Geographic Learning, first focused on the six core principles we use in reading explorer. She talked about the principles one by one and shared some examples from Reading Explorer books. The last thing she mentioned that how to let students to read about the world and learn about the world from the reading passages.

In the 2nd session of webinar, speaker Mr Andrew Tiffany, teacher trainer of Greater China, National Geographic Learning, talked more about teaching critical thinking skills by using reading explorer. First, he talked about what the critical thinking is and also shared some examples of engaging in critical thing during reading. Finally, he emphasized the teacher role if the reading explorer is not read in the class.
